361 <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Department of Social Services - Acceptance of the Cannon Foundation Grant and <br />Approval of Budget Amendment <br /> <br /> Chairman Barnhart announced that the County has been awarded a Cannon <br />Foundation grant in the amount of $50,000.00 for the Department of Social <br />Services Automated Single Appltcation Project. Matching funds of $50,000.00 will <br />be provided through savings identified within the Department's current budget. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Barnhart, seconded by Commissioner Casper and <br />unanimously carried, the Board accepted the $50,000.00 grant from the Cannon <br />Foundation for the Department of Social Services Automated Single Application <br />Project and authorized the Chairman to execute the acceptance of the grant terms <br />and conditions as set forth in a letter dated March 7, 1995 to Chairman Barnhart <br />from Mr. Dan Gray, Executive Director of the Cannon Foundation.
