Repairs are <br />made to roofs and plumbing, electrical and structural systems. Handicap <br />accessibility issues are also addressed under this program. The County has <br />been designated to receive $156,305.00 in project funds and $14,545.00 for <br />administrative costs. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner Carruth <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the contract (Agreement for the <br />Execution of a HOME Investment Partnership Program) with the City of Concord <br />for the 2004-2005 HOME housing rehabilitation program in the amount of <br />$170,850.00 (project funds and administrative costs), subject to County <br />Attorney review and changes, and authorized the County Manager to execute the <br />contract on behalf of Cabarrus County. <br /> <br />(F-3) Budget AmenSment - Certificates of Participation! Series 2002 <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner Carruth <br />and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following budget amendments: <br /> <br />BUDGET REVISION/AMENDMENT REQUEST <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE <br />AMOUNT: $351,136.00 <br />TYPE OF ADJUSTMENT: Supplemental Request <br />PURPOSE OF REQUEST: To increase the Contribution from the Capital Projects <br />Fund. These funds are from the Certificates of Participation Series 2002 and <br />will be used to make a semi-annual debt payment as required by our COPS III <br />financing agreement with SouthTrust Bank. <br /> <br /> <br />
