September 20, 2004 Page 638 Board members asked Mr. Murdock what would be necessary for WSACC to become the County-wide provider of water and sewer and for the membership of the WSACC Board to be expanded. Mr. Murdock explained it would be necessary for the organizing jurisdictions to make those decisions, including a unanimous vote from all participating jurisdictions to change the makeup of the WSACC Board. Board members expressed concern that the Town of Midland, which was incorporated after the creation of WSACC, does not have representation on the WSACC Board. Mr. Murdock suggested the Board ask the WSACC Board of Directors to review the makeup of the WSACC Board and make a recommendation to the Board of Commissioners. UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carpenter, seconded by Commissioner Privette and unanimously carried, the Board requested the .WSACC Board of Directors to review the makeup of the WSACC Board and make a recommendation. (G-6) Kannapolis City' Schools - Change Order Request for Fred L. Wilson School and Related Budget Amendment Ms. Dubois presented Change Order G-3 for Fred L. Wilson School and the related budget amendment. UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner Carruth and unanimously carried, the Board approved Change Order G-3 and the following budget amendment: BUDGET REVISION/AMENDMENT REQUEST DEPARTMENT OF FINA/~CE AMOUNT: $31,850.00 TYPE OF ADJUSTMENT: Transfer Between Department/Funds PURPOSE OF REQUEST: Change Order G-3 for Fred L Wilson totaling $139,850.00 has been approved by the Kannapolis City School Board on September 13, 2004. Funding for $108,000.00 is already available within the project; however, a request for an additional $31,850.00 is needed. Adequate funds are available to meet this change order request in the contingency line item budget. Wilson and Kannapolis Middle School and the related budget amendment.. UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner Carpenter and unanimously carried, the Board approved the Change Order and the following budget amendment. BUDGET REVISION/AMENDMENT REQUEST DEPARTMENT OF FINAI~CE AMOUNT: $71,608.00 TYPE OF ADJUSTMENT: Transfer Between Departments/Funds PURPOSE OF REQUEST: A summary of the change order request is attached. The net result of these change orders total $21,018 of additional funds being requested from the contingency line item of the budget for COPS III.
