<br />3. Incentivize All Employers to Hire by Returning to Our Previous Tax Rate.
<br />As of August 2013, Cabarrus County has 85,542 people employed. We focus
<br />so much effort on bringing in new companies which create 5, 10, 50, or 100
<br />jobs, and do not prioritize our companies that are already here and create
<br />85,000 jobs. As conclusively shown by the Windshear tax incentive
<br />analysis, the tax increase to 70 cents is prohibiting our existing
<br />companies from making additional capital investment and creating job
<br />growth..
