Regional Greenway Trail Planning Efforts <br /> Carolina Thread Trail (CTT): A <br /> planned network of greenway trails <br /> is being implemented at the local <br /> level to create the regional system. 1 <br /> When complete, this network will be 0 4 <br /> comprised of more than 1,500 miles <br /> of trails connecting 2.3 million CAROLINA <br /> THREAD <br /> people and 40 destinations across 15 TRAIL <br /> counties. Approximately 100 miles of <br /> CTT are planned for Cabarrus <br /> County. One segment will follow <br /> Mallard Creek through the <br /> Morehead West Area, linking the <br /> Cross Charlotte Trail to the Rocky <br /> River Greenway. <br /> Cross Charlotte Trail <br /> (XCLT): The City of <br /> Charlotte and <br /> ` Mecklenburg County have <br /> partnered to implement a <br /> 26-mile multi-use path <br /> •1 - <br /> PNC MU that will extend across <br /> PAVIUON the county.
