2. Beginning July 1, 2017, the Contractor shall pay to the County the sum of <br /> $19,164.25 per month, in advance, for so long as any of such bridges is closed to public <br /> use. This amount was determined to approximate the monthly cost of the personnel to <br /> staff the ambulance and temporary station in that area. The cost of the ambulance and the <br /> temporary station shall be borne by the County. <br /> 3. The Contractor shall provide to the County thirty(30) days notice of the <br /> opening of the last of the bridges. Upon such opening, the Contractor's obligation to pay <br /> this monthly amount shall end. The final month of payment by the Contractor shall be <br /> prorated to such opening date. <br /> 4. The Contractor's obligation to pay the above-stated monthly amount is <br /> unconditional and shall bear interest at the rate of 8.0%per year for all past due <br /> payments. Should the monthly payment not be received by the County by the fifth day of <br /> the month for which due, a$250.00 late fee shall also be due. <br /> 5. This document contains the entire understanding of the parties with regard <br /> to the subject matter of this Agreement.
