CABARRUS
MMM HEALTH
ALLIANCE
at NC Research Campus
May 19, 2017
Megan Smit
Assistant to the County Manager/Clerk to the Board
Cabarrus County Manager's Office
P. 0. Box 707
Concord, N.C. 28026-9696
Re: Cabarrus County Public Health Authority Board Vacancy Effective June 30, 2017
Dear Megan,
The appointment term for Tedra Claytor, MD, who represents the Cabarrus Medical Society
seat on the Cabarrus County Public Health Authority Board, will expire effective June 30, 2017.
Board Chairman James T. Mack, Jr., reached out to Dr. Claytor in early March to see if she
would be interested in serving a second term on our Board. On March 10, 2017, Dr. Claytor
responded to Chairman Mack that she was interested in serving again.
The Cabarrus County Public Health Authority Board unanimously approves of and recommends
the re-appointment of Tedra Claytor, MD to continue to fill the seat on our Board representing
a member of the Cabarrus County Medical Society, and feels that her experience and
knowledge of Communicable Diseases and the fact that she a CMC-NorthEast physician,
practicing with NorthEast Infection Disease, will continue to be of significant benefit, not only
the Board, but to the Cabarrus County Public Health Authority as we continue to address the
public health needs of our citizens.
Best regards,
pa"9 0 4"-r
Dianne Berry, CIVIC, NCCMC
Clerk to the Board/Human Resources Program Manager
Attachment number 1 \n
300 Mooresville Road -Kannapolis, NC 28081 -704.920.1000 www.cabarrushealth.org
H-9 Page 318
