Cabarrus County Public Library <br />their two major fundraisers, the Scrabble Scramble 5K Run and the Buzz Word Spelling Bee, at which <br />they would also provide recruitment activities for literacy tutors and students. <br />CLC has also agreed to contribute to these services monetarily after the grant year is complete. <br />With a transitioning board and a period of stabilization needed to maintain sustainability, initial funding <br />is limited to matching 10% of the total grant award. Regular communication has been established <br />between CLC and CCPL, and a Memorandum of Understanding is scheduled to be drafted by the end of <br />the calendar year to establish future collaborations with library literacy services. <br />5.
