CABARRUS COUNTY <br />w r; <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />OCTOBER 17, 2016 <br />1 <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />New Business <br />SUBJECT: <br />Planning and Development - Proposed Amendment (TEXT2016- 00013) - <br />Public Hearing 6:30 P.M. <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />Attached you will find proposed changes to Chapter 4, Overlay Districts <br />and Zones <br />The proposed changes incorporate language and standards as provided <br />by the State of North Carolina model ordinance for Watershed regulation. <br />The proposed changes also clarify that manufactured homes parks must <br />be supported by governmental water and sewer or individual well and <br />septic systems. <br />Proposed additions are in red. Deletions are in strikethrough text. <br />The proposed changes to the watershed regulations have been reviewed <br />and approved by the State of North Carolina Division of Energy, Mineral, <br />and Land Resources Department as administrator of the program. <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission voted unanimously at the <br />September 13th meeting to forward the proposed changes to the Board of <br />Commissioners for final consideration. The Board of Commissioners will <br />need to hold a public hearing to consider the proposed changes. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Receive Staff Report. <br />Hold Public Hearing. <br />G -4 Page 401 <br />
