CAPTAIN 73 <br />74 <br />RECRUIT (NON -BLET) <br />NEW POSITION <br />64 <br />RECRUIT (NON- EMD /EFD /TELECOM) <br />NEW POSITION <br />63 <br />RECRUIT (NON -DOCC) <br />NEW POSITION <br />63 <br />DETENTION MASTER CONTROL <br />NEW POSITION <br />63 <br />RECOMMENDATIONS FOR FUTURE CONSIDERATION, TO BE PHASED IN AS <br />FUNDING BECOMES AVAILABLE: <br />Two additional classification levels for Deputy, Detention Officer, Civilian Tele- communicator, <br />and Paramedic based upon the attainment of identified certifications (including detailed proof of <br />the competency of the certification's value for the citizens of Cabarrus County within the county <br />environment and operational parameters as applied by the individual), training, and other proven <br />individual accomplishments. <br />Creation of a single Deputy Fire Marshall position based upon the attainment of identified <br />certifications (including detailed proof of the competency of the certification's value for the <br />citizens of Cabarrus County within the county environment and operational parameters as applied <br />by the individual), training, and other proven individual accomplishments. <br />Incentives for special teams and special assignments across the three Public Safety Departments. <br />These incentives will not increase the pay grade of the incumbent, but rather provide additional <br />pay for assignments that render the position of a higher value to the citizens of the county, but <br />may be performed on an irregular or part -time basis.
