All CCI employees working within the demarcated area will be equipped with Personal Protective Equipment
(PPE) such as but not limited to: disposable full body coverings, rubber gloves, steel toed boots, %2 face dual
cartridge respirator equipped with appropriate filter cartridges, reflective safety vests and safety glasses as well as
any other special required equipment required to complete the project.
5. CCI will utilize a skid steer to clear the area directly behind the existing fixed short walls and associate concrete
pads /motorized target equipment. This path will be used to allow the mini - excavator to gain access to the
embankment slated for excavation.
6. As the embankment is excavated the skid steer will be utilized to move soil to the power screen for processing.
7. CCI is expecting the excavation of the embankment to be approx. three (3) feet in depth.
8. CCI will utilize the powerscreen to separate the lead bullets from the soil. For the purposes of this bid we are
planning on one pass through the power screen. All lead bullets will be collected, bagged and placed into 55-
gallon drums.
9. CCI will continue this process until all of the soil has been screened. Once screened CCI will begin placement of
the screened soil back into the embankment in its original location. CCI is not including costs associated with
meeting any type of compaction requirements and that the area will be left in a rough grade condition.
10. Environmental testing will be performed by others and is not part of this project.
11. CCI also understands that if needed the county will supply additional backfill material(s) to get the embankment
back to its original topography at no cost to CCI.
12, CCI will segregate all other waste (i.e. suits, gloves, poly etc.) and collect one sample for submission to an
independent laboratory for analysis via Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP). CCI is expecting that
the results of this analysis will come back where these materials can be disposed of as Construction Debris (C &D)
waste. The pricing associated with this waste disposal as C &D is included in our proposal. In the off chance the
TCLP comes back hazardous additional costs may be incurred for its disposal.
13. COI's pricing is based upon one mobilization/demobilization to the project site.
PROJECT SCHEDULE:
CCI is anticipating the following schedule for performing the abovementioned scope of work:
Combat Area — 6 days
Qualification Area — 8 days
CCI is anticipating working 6 days a week Monday through Saturday 10 -hours per day to complete the work in a timely
manner as well as to reduce rental costs for the project which in turn will reduce project overall costs.
LEAD SHOT EXCAVATION, SCREENING AND SOIL RE- INSTALLATION $ 57,569.00
UNIT RATE PRICING:
CCI will provide EPA Approved Steel Drums with tightening ring /lid $ 60.75 EACH
CCI proposes to furnish the necessary labor, supervision, materials, equipment, and special services required to complete
the above- referenced work for the sum of
INSURANCE:
CCI maintains a standard two million- dollar aggregate coverage limit with a one million - dollar per occurrence
and ten million dollars excess umbrella comprehensive general liability and professional liability and pollution
liability insurance.
