Section 3 <br />b. Serve as a technical advisor to county agencies and county leadership on potential hazards <br />created by fires and hazardous materials accidents. <br />c. Develop mutual aid agreements between all county fire departments. <br />d. Prepare inventories of fire equipment and personnel. <br />e. Report to the county EOC upon activation. The Fire Marshal is assigned to the Operations <br />Group in EOC. <br />f. Coordinate fire department operations and activate mutual aid agreements with surrounding <br />counties or municipalities as needed. <br />g. Coordinate additional support personnel to assist in traffic control and damage assessment <br />operations. <br />h. During recovery operations, conduct fire inspections of vital facilities and shelter sites. <br />i. Supervises the County Radiological Monitoring Officer (RMO) during any emergency <br />situation involving radioactive materials. <br />j. Develop and maintain a Radiological Protection System in accordance with Federal /State laws <br />and guidelines. Establish a distribution system for radiological protection equipment. <br />k. Ensures that the RMO conducts annual training of key personnel involved with radiological <br />monitoring or response. <br />1. During an emergency situation involving the McGuire Nuclear Power Station the County <br />Radiological Monitoring Officer performs the following duties: <br />(1) Establish and operate the County Reception Center. <br />(2) Provide radiological monitoring support to hazardous materials response teams as <br />needed. <br />(3) Coordinate with the Public Information Officer (PIO) to prepare information briefings <br />during radiological emergencies. <br />Cabarrus Health Alliance (Public and Environmental Health) <br />a.
