CONCEPT OF OPERATIONS <br />o These procedures must maintain communications between the EOC, field units, shelter <br />facilities, adjacent jurisdictions, and State EOC. <br />b. Maintain current internal notification/recall rosters. <br />c. Coordinate warning procedures for special locations such as schools, hospitals, nursing <br />homes, major industries, and institutions. <br />d. Develop emergency notification and warning procedures to alert the general public to <br />impending or existing hazards. <br />e. Receive and disseminate warning information and ensure information related to emergency <br />situations is provided to emergency workers, key officials, special locations and the EOC. <br />f. Coordinate communications network with surrounding counties and State of North Carolina <br />agencies. <br />g. Develop procedures for maintaining and restoring telephone and 911 services during <br />emergencies. <br />h. Develop agreements to provide radio repair and maintenance under emergency conditions. <br />i. Provide an alternate communications capability in the event the main system fails. <br />j. Report to the EOC upon activation and provide direction and control for communications <br />operations. Notify all emergency services in the County when the EOC is opened. <br />k. Provide for testing and exercising of the communications, warning, and alerting systems on a <br />monthly basis. <br />Tax Administration <br />Tax Administration's responsibility is the listing, assessment, and collection of County property <br />taxes and the administration of incentive grants. Tax Administration is composed of four <br />divisions: Personal Property, Real Property, Land Records, and Tax Collections. <br />a. Departmental representative(s) report to the EOC and/or a CRDP, upon activation. The Tax <br />Administration representative is assigned to the Resource Group in the EOC. <br />b.
