• Disseminate household pet reunification information and requirements to the public. <br />• Provide fostering and adoption information to the public for unclaimed or abandoned <br />animals after a predetermined waiting period and efforts to reunite owners and <br />household pets. <br />IV. DIRECTION AND CONTROL <br />A. The North Carolina DHHS provides overall management for mass care and shelter <br />operations. <br />B.
