Insurance Requirements <br />• The Contractor will purchase and maintain with an insurance company authorized to do <br />business in the State of North Carolina during the life of this Agreement. <br />• The Contractor will provide Bodily Injury, Property Damage, Comprehensive and Collision <br />Insurance for vehicles used to provide services under this Contract to the following minimal <br />limits: <br />o Commercial General Liability including Bodily Injury, Personal Injury and Advertising <br />Injury: <br />o $1,000,000 per occurrence <br />o $2,000,000 general aggregate <br />o Worker's Compensation and Employee Liability Statutory Limits. <br />o $500,000 per accident by accident or $500,000 policy limit by disease. <br />o $500,000 per employee by disease. <br />o Automobile Liability: $1,500,000 combined single limits or $1,000,000 with an umbrella <br />policy of $1,000,000 per occurrence. <br />o Collision and Comprehensive: On all vehicles used for purposes of this contract. <br />o Uninsured /Underinsured Motorist $1,000,000. <br />o Umbrella policy of $1,000,000 <br />Deductibles and Self- Insured retainers, if any, shall be identified in the Proposal. Proposer shall also <br />identify its insurance agent(s) and underwriting company(s). <br />Certificates of such insurance must indicate the type, the amount, the class of operations covered, the <br />effective date and the expiration date for all policies. It shall be furnished to Cabarrus County and shall <br />not be canceled or materially altered except after 30 days written notice has been received by Cabarrus <br />County, and mutually agreed upon. The Contractor must cease work if any of the required insurance is <br />canceled or expires. <br />Cabarrus County shall be endorsed and named as an additional insured. Contractors insurance shall <br />be primary and noncontributory. All certificates shall reflect the endorsement and be delivered directly <br />from the insurance agent or insurer either by email, fax or mail. <br />The Contractor further agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the County, its elected officials, agents, <br />employees, and assigns from and against any all claims, damages losses, cost damage, expenses <br />including without limitation, court costs and attorney fee(s) and liability caused by an accident or other <br />11 <br />Attachment number 1 <br />F -4 Page 56 <br />
