Class demonstrations will include preparation <br />and canning of seasonal vegetables or fruits. <br />Spring and Summer Gardening Cooking Workshop <br />This workshop will demonstrate harvesting, selection of produce and cooking <br />techniques for using fresh organic vegetables in healthy home and gourmet recipes. <br />Basic Water Bath Canning <br />This hands -on workshop will demonstrate harvesting, selection of produce, and food <br />preservation techniques for saving and storing food. Class demonstrations will include <br />preparation and canning using the water bath method of seasonal vegetables or fruits. <br />Basic Pressure Canning <br />This workshop will demonstrate harvesting, selection of produce, and food preservation <br />techniques for saving and storing food. Class demonstrations will include preparation <br />and pressure canning of seasonal vegetables or fruits <br />Growing Communities Workshop <br />"Learn to build sustainable, well- organized, community supported gardens ". Join us for <br />a 2 day `train the trainer' workshop where attendees will learn the principles and <br />practices of community building and how to pass these techniques on to others in their <br />area by conducting their own local or regional workshops. The workshop will be very <br />interactive with participants learning from and teaching each other. <br />Landscapes You Can Eat <br />Create spring gardening success beginning this winter!
