<br />EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT -- OPERATiONS & PLANNING. Strengthened the organization's presence through
<br />expertise in public relations, serving as main point of contact to local, state, and Federal government officials,
<br />business partners, and community leaders. Oversaw Human Resource functions, including the development of
<br />policies and procedures, and provides performance- focused direction to seven direct reports and staff in Dallas,
<br />Raleigh, Charlotte, and New Orleans. Manages the development and ongoing activities of HopeWorks, a leading -
<br />edge job creation program, and coordinates all fundraising initiatives.

<br />The City of Charlotte has approximately 6,000 employees and a budget of $166.
<br />HOUSING DIRECTOR. Controlled multi - million dollar capital budgets, operating budgets and Federal funding
<br />programs, and created business and strategic operating plans. In charge of establishing and ensuring compliance of
<br />multiple community programs, including the Community Development Block Grant, HOME, ESG, HOPWA,
<br />Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP), Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re- Housing Program (HPRP) and Lead
<br />Hazard Reduction Program, and represented the organization during public forums and hearings. Complied with
<br />mandates for consolidated planning documents, including HUD Consolidated Plan, and the Consolidated Annual
<br />Performance and Evaluation Report. Provided direction to a 24- member staff.

<br />• Expertise and dedication to excellence resulted in achieving a consistent 90% or higher ratings from custorner
<br />and employee surveys, and achieving multiple grants, funding, and investment wins, including:
<br />» Managed the assets of a $60M+ City -loan portfolio, and contributed to the development of the City's first
<br />housing trust fund valued at $67M.
<br />Collaborated with the Charlotte Housing Authority in the development of five HOPE VI developments
<br />(First Ward, Park at Oaklawn, Arbor Glen, Seigle Point and the initial development of Boulevard Hornes).
<br />» Awarded $15M in grants from Federal Lead Hazard Reduction and State rehabilitation programs.
<br />» Secured fundings of $5.4M (HUD), $2.6M (state), and $6.1M (ARRA) from the Neighborhood Stabilization
<br />program funding during the Housing and Econornic Recovery Act (HERA) of 2008 and the America
<br />Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
<br />» Increased homeownership opportunities for more than 4,000 families as a contributor to the City's
<br />HouseCharlotte and American Dream Down Payment Assistance loan programs, including financing of
<br />construction for 11,000+ affordable homes and coordination of the City's involvement and investments
<br />for four developments.
