• Reconcile all bank statements, investment accounts, accounts receivable and payable accounts, miscellaneous <br />accounts, expense accounts, fund balance accounts and all miscellaneous general ledger accounts. <br />• Post all cash receipts, cash disbursements and adjust entries and run necessary reports. <br />Non Federal Share(NSF) of Head Start Grant <br />• Oversee gathering of data to support "in- kind" and NFS income <br />• Continually explore additional ways of generating NFS income <br />• Ensure maintenance of complete & accurate records supporting this income <br />Fixed Asset Management <br />■ Maintain complete and accurate fixed asset records including identification of those assets purchased with <br />federal funds <br />Assure computation of annual depreciation expense (if applicable) <br />Keep file of leases and contracts <br />Oversee annual recording of inventories <br />Compliance and Reporting <br />• Prepare monthly financial statements for Boards and management. <br />• Comply with all federal and state reporting requirements. <br />• Prepare for and work with annual financial audit; review and interpret results. <br />• Prepare for and participate in triennial monitoring review (Head Start) and any other program monitoring. <br />• Keep up to date on all financial requirements and regulations pertaining to the various programs operated by <br />the Agency. <br />• Work with the Program Directors to prepare and submit required monthly reports. <br />• Regularly monitor functional areas (fiscal and payroll) to assure compliance with requirements of Head Start <br />Performance Standards, or other local, state and federal regulations. <br />• Working knowledge of OMB Circulars. <br />Supervision <br />• Promote consistent exchange of information and a cooperative environment. <br />• Supervise the staff in the Finance Office <br />• Train and develop staff, including the delegation of responsibilities <br />• Supervisor and prepare annual staff evaluations <br />Communication <br />+ Keep the Executive Director and Finance Committee apprised of the organization's financial status and any <br />critical financial issues involving the agency and its programs. <br />• Attend Board of Director meetings to present monthly financials and to address any questions that may arise in <br />the absence of the board Treasurer. <br />• Attend Leadership Team meetings. <br />• Meet monthly with the Executive Director and Program Directors and provide relevant financial information. <br />• Meet with the Policy Council and any other Advisory Board committees as required by the Executive Director. <br />• Meet monthly with the Finance Committee to review the agency's financials. <br />Revised January 2014 <br />Attachment number 1 <br />F -13 Page 220 <br />
