S -RCAA, Inc. cannot resolve matters that it sloes not know about. Every employee has a duty to <br />immediately report harassment so that S -RCAA, inc. can try to resolve the situation. You should <br />report harassment anytime you feel that you have been harassed. <br />This is true whether the alleged harasser is an employee, a supervisor or manager, or even a <br />non - employee, such as a client or vendor with whom 5 -RCAA, Inc. does business. <br />To report harassment, you must contact the Human Resources Department at (704) 635' -6633. <br />once your report has been received, S -RCAA, inc. will <br />• Conduct a prompt and thorough investigation <br />• DISCL15S the results with the complaining employee and, where appropriate, the action to be <br />taken <br />• Keep the investigation and results as confidential as possible <br />• if the complaint is verified, take appropriate corrective action, up through and including <br />termination <br />fVo employee will he punished.forhringing a report of harassment to the company's attention <br />or for cooperating in an investigation.53 <br />Finally, if you feel that S -RCAA, Inc. has not met its obligations under this policy, or if you are <br />not satisfied with the way in which your report of harassment was handled, you should contact <br />the e=xecutive Director. An effective No- Harassment policy depends on all of us, wanking - <br />together, to address this very important subject. <br />PROCEDURE FOR FILING A HARASSMENT COMPLAINT <br />S -RCAA, inc. has a zero tolerance for harassment of any type. Employees who feel they are a <br />victim of harassment should complete a Harassment Complaint form. <br />When completing the farm, the employee should: <br />a Give as much detail as possible <br />Be sure to include the names of any witnesses <br />• Make sure to include the name of the person(s) doing the harassing <br />4 Be sure to include the date and place of the harassment <br />Make sure he /she dates and signs the form. <br />The completed Harassment Complaint Form should be turned into the Human Resource <br />Department. The Human Resource director (or designee) will route the form to the staff <br />responsible for conducting an investigation. <br />The investigation will include, but is not limited to, questioning witnesses to the incident, the <br />person filingthe complaint and the alleged harasser, unless there is reason to believe the <br />alleged harasser would harm the accuser. Ifthere appears to be any reason to believe the <br />harassment or the complaints of harassment may escalate, the accused harasser may be <br />suspended with pay pending the outcome of the investigation. Generally, unless there are <br />unforeseen circumstances, the investigation will be concluded within 10 working days. <br />Attachment number 1 <br />k-fl 3 Page 240 <br />
