Salisbury Rowan Community Action Agency <br />The staff at SRCAA, Inc. will continue to coordinate services through continuous partners <br />meetings to stay abreast of any changes with the Crisis Intervention Program. <br />Weatherization referrals are given to eligible participants in Cabarrus County as well. <br />ROMA Goals 4 and 5 DHHS Excels -Goals 1 and 2 <br />Partnerships among supporters and providers of services to Manage resources that provide an elevated level of effective <br />low- income people are achieved; Agencies increase their and efficient delivery of services and programs to North <br />capacity to achieve results Carolinians; Expand understanding and use of information to <br />enhan the health and safety of North Carolinians <br />10. Describe the needs of low- income youth and your agency's efforts to promote increased <br />community coordination and collaboration in meeting the needs of low- income youth. <br />SRCAA, Inc. Career and Education Training Services (Workforce Investment Act Program) <br />continues to serve low- income youth whose needs include basic literacy skills, school <br />dropout, homelessness, runaway and foster children, pregnant teens, offenders, or youths <br />with disabilities. The Career and Education Training Services (WIA) Program commits to an <br />intensive and detailed case management approach for service delivery. The Program <br />assumed the responsibility for providing extensive coordination, necessary between all <br />service providers such as: <br />• Job Link Center — (Rowan and Cabarrus) <br />• Rowan Cabarrus Community College <br />• Rowan Salisbury Schools <br />• Department Of Social Services — (Rowan and Cabarrus) <br />• Vocational Rehabilitation - (Rowan and Cabarrus) <br />• Career Connections <br />• NC Research Center <br />• Health Department - (Rowan and Cabarrus) <br />• Juvenile Justice <br />• NC Agriculture Extension Service <br />• Adolescent Pregnancy Council <br />• Team Chevrolet <br />• Livingstone College <br />• Barber Scotia College <br />• Goodwill — (Rowan and Cabarrus) <br />As of December 3, 2012, the SRCAA Board of Directors approved the merging of two departments <br />within the agency. The Career and Education Training Services (WIA Youth) and the Family Services <br />(CSBG) were strategically aligned to serve youth and families. The new title for the overall <br />department is Youth and Family Services. This will help to unify our approach to case management <br />and youth and family development.
