Each compartment and module entry door shall have a Whelen OS Series amber flashing light located on the <br />outer edge of the door approximately half way from the top and bottom. The brake /trail and reverse lights shall be in the <br />rear kick plate and the turn arrow shall be up on the rear of the box above the kick plate approximately 6 to 8 <br />inches. <br />Does your bid comply? Yes _X_ No <br />Hardware, Construction, Switching Arrangements <br />The emergency lighting system shall be comprised of components and devices that comply with the general <br />requirements and tests of SAE J575g, J576d and J551. Warning lights shall be firmly fastened to reinforced <br />body surfaces and all mounting holes into aluminum shall have nylon inserts to prevent screws from <br />contacting the aluminum skin in order to eliminate potential corrosion. All connectors and wiring shall be <br />rated to carry a minimum of 125% of their maximum ampere load. <br />All emergency light switches shall be labeled as specified in KKK -A -1822, and the PRIMARY /SECONDARY mode <br />switch shall have an indicator light to show the driver when primary mode is activated. All warning light <br />control switches shall be located in the driver's control console. The emergency light switches shall be wired <br />and arranged to provide the warning light signal modes and combinations as specified in KKK- A- 1822F. <br />Does your bid comply?
