break angles and locations to be pre -cut by CNC equipment during the manufacturing process. Cabinets shall <br />be designed to be easily opened, but shall not come open in transit. Where specified the storage cabinets shall <br />have shatterproof Plexiglas doors set in an extruded anodized aluminum frame. This frame shall encompass <br />all four sides of the opening creating a "picture" frame appearance and will incorporate a replaceable track <br />section. The Plexiglas used in these compartments shall be grey, smoke, or bronze tinted, at least .1875" thick. <br />Opening the sliding doors shall be facilitated by full height extruded aluminum handles affixed to one end of <br />each Plexiglas door. <br />There shall be s flip up "restocking" feature using strut hold opens and positive closing latches on the cabinets <br />above the action counter, as well as upper and lower rear cabinets. <br />Does your bid comply? Yes _X_ No <br />The technician's work or "action" area and "life pack" area shall be of the size shown in the drawings and shall <br />provide space. These shelf areas shall have Corian countertops with retaining lips. Plastic laminate, ABS trays, <br />or molded poured acrylic material are not acceptable. Yes _X_ No <br />Squad Bench and CPR Seat <br />The squad bench shall be constructed of .125 aluminum painted to match interior. The squad bench shall have <br />a padded seat cushion covered with heavy -duty thermal- formed vinyl. This cushion shall be a minimum of 2 <br />1/2" inches thick. The cushion shall provide a smooth surface for ease of cleaning and disinfecting. (Note: <br />"Hot Press" type pleating is also unacceptable.) <br />(A). The squad bench lid is to be split with at least two (2) lid able to be operable, with an automatic gas strut <br />hold open device. The squad bench is to have a full - length backrest covered with matching heavy -duty <br />thermal- formed vinyl. <br />(B). There shall be three (3) sets of seat belts, with automotive -style retractors, on the bench so as to secure <br />three persons seated or one patient on the secondary litter. <br />(C).
