Over half of these properties owe only one year
of back taxes and we will be looking for other avenues to collect these before moving them into
foreclosure. These numbers were collected as of July 1, 2012.

Number of Number of
Years/Bills Parcels
1 2,589
2 884
3 475
4 231
5 75
6 39
7 42
8 67
9 38
10 or more 146
Total 4,586

The following Chart shows the amount of delinquent real property taxes per year:

Amount
Tax Year Billed Amount Due
2002 Total $39,341.12 $72,795.80
2003 Total $25,380.02 $45,610.40
2004 Total $36,205.28 $68,335.99
2005 Total $57,905.82 $79,215.38
2006 Total $64,471.68 $83,356.23
2007 Total $67,232.04 $88,616.86
2008 Total $255,203.12 $273,376.22
2009 Total $617,574.21 $597,380.00
2010 Total $1,408,196.42 $1,332,992.71
2011 Total $5,643,800.11 $4,324,219.06
'ƌĂŶĚdŽƚĂůΨϴ͕Ϯϭϱ͕ϯϬϵ͘ϴϮΨϲ͕ϵϲϱ͕ϴϵϴ͘ϲϱ

As we move forward we plan to evaluate parcels that owe us 10 or more years/bills and then
work our way up the list until we have worked all of the parcels that owe us two or more years
of taxes. We would like to get into a position where we have no accounts that owe more than
one year. If property taxes become more than one year past due they sometimes become
overwhelming to the taxpayer and leave them without hope that they can clear them up.

G-1Page 186
