WHEREAS, Cabarrus Soil and Water Conservation District was established as a single - <br />county conservation district out of the multi- county Middle Yadkin Soil and Water Conservation <br />District on August 28, 1963, in compliance with N.C. General Statute 139; and <br />WHEREAS, August 28, 2013, marks the 50th anniversary of Cabarrus Soil and Water <br />Conservation District and represents a significant milestone in the stewardship of natural <br />resources; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED tha <br />Commissioners do hereby proclaim August 28, 2013, as <br />year of Cabarrus Soil and Water Conservation District <br />citizens. <br />t the Cabarrus County Board of <br />the beginning of the 50 anniversary <br />and commend its celebration to all <br />Adopted this the 19 day of August, 2013. <br />Elizabeth F.
