CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />r <br />z ft 0 AUGUST 19, 2013 <br />6:30 P.M. <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT: <br />Cooperative Extension - Agricultural Advisory Board - Recommendation <br />for Voluntary Agricultural District Application Approval <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />The Cabarrus County Agricultural Advisory Board met on July 11, 2013 <br />and approved two Voluntary Agricultural District applications. <br />In the Voluntary Agricultural Ordinance No. 2005 -20, Article XIV County <br />Land -Use Planning, Section C Growth Corridors, Voluntary Agricultural <br />District applications from growth corridors are subject to approval by the <br />Board of Commissioners. One of the applications, concerning the property <br />belonging to applicant Margaret Ann Adams Dover is located in a growth <br />corridor. The property is located on Poplar Tent Road, near International <br />Drive, NW in Concord. This application has the recommendation and <br />support of the Agricultural Advisory Board. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Motion to approve the Agricultural Advisory Board's recommended <br />application from Margaret Ann Adams Dover for inclusion in the Voluntary <br />Agricultural Districts. <br />EXPECTED LENGTH OF PRESENTATION: <br />SUBMITTED BY: <br />Robert B.
