County <br />�z�z �ra'�t@E€ +'�d��rz�u <br />SECTION 2 - GENERAL SEWER USE REQUIREMENTS <br />2.1 Prohibited Dischar c Standards <br />(a) General Prohibitions. No user shall contribute or cause to be contributed into the POTW, directly or <br />indirectly, any pollutant or wastewater which causes interference or pass through. These general prohibitions <br />apply to all users of the POTW whether or not the user is a SIU or subject to any National, State, or local <br />pretreatment standards or requirements. <br />(b) Specific Prohibitions. No user shall conhibute or cause to be contributed into the POTW the following <br />pollutants, substances, or wastewater: <br />(1) Explosive mixtures. Any pollutant(s) which, either alone or by interaction with an other pollutant(s), <br />creates a fire or explosive hazard in the POTW, including, but not limited to, waste streams with a <br />closed cup flashpoint of less than one hundred forty (140) degrees Fahrenheit (sixty (60) degrees <br />Celsius) using the test methods specified in 40 CFR 261.21. <br />(2) Solid or viscous substances. Solid or viscous substances in amounts which wilt cause obstruction of <br />the POTW resulting in interference but in no case solids greater than one half inch in any dimension. <br />Prohibited materials include but are not limited to: grease, uncomminuted garbage, animal guts or <br />tissues, paunch manure, bones, hair, hides or fleshings, entrails, whole blood, feathers, ashes, cinders, <br />sand, spent lime, stone or marble dust, metal, glass, straw, shavings, grass clippings, rags, spent <br />14 <br />Attachment number 3 <br />H -3 Page 269 <br />
