May include <br />permanently. <br />provisions of G.S. §132 - <br />affidavits, agreements, appeals, bills, briefs, citations, <br />1.1(a) regarding the <br />commitments, complaints, discharges, motions, <br />b) Destroy in office adjudicated cases 5 years after final <br />confidentiality of <br />notices, pleas, releases, statements, testimony, <br />disposition. <br />written <br />verdicts, waivers, warrants, and writs. <br />communications by <br />c) Destroy in office non - adjudicated cases (out -of -court <br />legal counsel. <br />claims) 5 years after final disposition or expiration of <br />relevant statute of limitations. <br />Retention Note: Records are retained by the Clerk of Superior <br />Court's office in each county. <br />15. <br />OATHS OF OFFICE FILE <br />a) Transfer official copy to the Clerk to the Board. <br />b) Destroy in office remaining records 3 years after official <br />termination. <br />Retention Note: The Clerk to the Board should present a copy of <br />the oaths of elected officials to the Clerk of Superior Court for <br />recording.
