A displaced individual or family covered under the Plan shall be eligible to receive a <br />moving expense payment in accordance with the following sections of the Uniform <br />Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970, as amended <br />(URA). Referenced are the following sections of URA to select from: <br />1. Section 24.301— Payment for actual reasonable moving and related expenses <br />residential moves. <br />Actual reasonable moving expense may be paid if the move is done by a <br />commercial mover. Tenants must get estimates from at least two moving <br />companies. Expenses must be reasonable and supported by receipts. Payment is <br />also limited to a 50 -mile moving distance. Payment can be made to the tenant or <br />directly to the commercial mover. <br />2. These include unfurnished or unused rooms, halls, bathrooms, attics, <br />porches, garages, dressing rooms, closets and utility rooms. However, should the <br />relocatee have sufficient storage room in the above stated rooms, the County may count <br />one additional room for the sum of these, but this is not to exceed one additional room for <br />the calculation of the number of eligible rooms in the dwelling. If a person has minimal <br />possessions and occupies a dormitory style room, or if a person's residential move is <br />performed by an agency at no cost to the person, a payment to that person is limited to <br />$100.00. <br />Replacement Housing Payment <br />A displaced individual or family covered under this Plan shall be eligible to receive <br />replacement housing payments in accordance with the following sections of the Uniform <br />Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970, as amended <br />(URA). Specifically referenced are the following sections of the URA: <br />1. Section 24.401 —180 Day Homeowners <br />2.
