I. Since the Module body to be remounted has a structural warranty on it, all bidders shall assume said warranty. This warranty shall be in writing and shall be included with the Bid Proposal. Bidders who fail to meet this requirement shall not be considered as responsive. Modular box wooden Sub -Floor shall be warranted for the Lifetime of the vehicle. There shall be a minimum of 10 year /100,000 minimum mile electrical warranty provided on the ambulance conversion electrical system. A copy of the warranty statement shall be submitted with this Bid Proposal. K. A minimum 7 year, unlimited mileage paint warranty shall be provided on the paint and its application. A copy of the painter's warranty statement shall be included with this Bid Proposal. All warranties shall begin at the acceptance of the vehicle(s) by the County. L. All equipment furnished shall be guaranteed to be new and of current manufacture; meet all requirements of these specifications; and be in proper operating condition at the time of delivery. M. All parts shall be of high quality workmanship and construction. No part or attachment shall be substituted or applied contrary to the manufacturer's recommendations and standard practices. N. All Bidders must have any and all current licenses required by state law to do business in the State of North Carolina. O. Any exception to the provisions in these specifications must be marked in the body of this document and Special Terms and Conditions - Page 2 itemized on a separate attached page(s } titled EXCEPTIONS /CLARIFICATIONS. Referenced by section number and paragraph, a detailed explanation of the exception(s) shall be provided along with by the bidder's alternative proposal. Bids not following this format shall not be considered. P. When submitting their Bid Proposal, bidders must return all pages of these specifications as part of the Bid Proposal as it will form the Contract between the Contractor and the Rockingham County. Caution should be taken by the Bidder that all questions are answered in the spaces provided and that all information requested is provided. Q. It is the Bidder's responsibility to be familiar with all federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, codes, and regulations concerning the submission of this bid and the work it effects. Ignorance of said enactments shall not relieve the Bidder of responsibility to comply or complete the bid work. R. Bid Proposals should include the purchase of cab /chassis, which will become surplus by the award of this bid.
