3.0 REMOVAL AND TRANSFER OF MODULAR AMBULANCE BODY <br />3.1 Dismount <br />Disconnect all sub systems between chassis and module. Lift module to allow full inspection of <br />understructure. <br />Does your bid comply? Yes NO <br />3.2 Module Inspection <br />Inspect all exposed structure and framing for cracks, warp age, excessive wear and corrosion. <br />Any questionable areas shall be treated with dye penetrant material to expose cracks. <br />Professionally repair as needed. <br />Does your bid comply? Yes No <br />3.3 Type Changeover <br />Transfer Module from Type III to another Type III. Modify suspension and bottom of module as <br />necessary. Module structure shall be warranted for the Lifetime of the unit and be transferrable <br />if the county decides to sell said vehicles. <br />Does your bid comply? Yes No <br />3.4 Module Remount <br />Mount down module squarely on chassis. Remounter to use new rubber isolators ounting bolts <br />and transfer body per QVM guidelines. <br />Does your bid comply? Z'eS No <br />3.5. Cab Extension <br />Install a new 20" All Aluminum cab extension is required. In addition, two (2) interior lights <br />shall be installed and. activate when these doors are opened. Fiberglass extensions are NOT <br />acceptable due to their tendency to crack. Also, the interior of this cab extension shall have full <br />upholstery, a full 3 /4 inch marine grade plywood sub floor and lonplate II, floor c ering. Said <br />cab extension shall be fully insulated. Yes No <br />Does your bid comply? <br />3.5 Cab Seal <br />Install a non - electrolytic accordion rubber seal between module and cab. Seal interface to <br />eliminate air and water leaks. Install a minimum of 50 new stainless steel bolts o fasten boot to <br />cab and module body.
