Tasks for Essential Departments. The departments that are essential to an emergency <br />response will remain on duty or report at normal times. As necessary, these personnel will report <br />early and the departments will prepare for continuous operations during the response. In addition <br />to the tasks assigned in the county Emergency Operations Plan, essential departments and <br />activities will ensure that they accomplish the following tasks: <br />1. Emergency Management Department <br />a.
