Yes No_ <br />5.15 Hold -Open Devices <br />A. All compartment doors are to Suspa or equivalent dual action hold- opens. <br />B. The side entry door shall have a Suspa or equivalent hold open device. <br />C. The rear entry doors are to have FOUR (4) Cast Products Model C 10870-1 "Grabber" Door <br />Stays. <br />D. Yes No <br />5.16 Exterior Compartment Latching Mechanis <br />All compartments shall have a latching mechanism with the following characteristics: <br />A. The locking device shall be EBERHART/ TRIMARK ROTARY STYLE LATCHES. <br />B. All exterior compartments shall have Eberhart / TriMark automotive style handles with <br />rotary type latches. These rotary style locks shall lock on to a "NADER" type pin located <br />in each doorjamb. Nader pins shall be adjustable. Locking systems not using the above <br />style hardware will be unacceptable. <br />C. The module curbside and rear entry doors shall have Eberhart / TriMark automotive style <br />handles with rotary latches and "NADER" pins. These doors shall also have power door <br />locks tied into door locks on chassis. <br />D. All of the above latches must be installed with a corrosion barrier type gasket between latch <br />and door surfaces. C1052 zinc - plated steel connecting rods shall be used between the <br />paddle handle and the rotary latches. These rods shall be threaded at the latch end to allow <br />the door rod connector to be screwed onto the rod itself. The other end of the rod shall be a <br />formed eyelet incorporating a hole for the handle pin. This system shall conform to AMD <br />Standard 002. Systems using pulleys, cables, turnbuckles, or welded together components <br />are not acceptable, and will be rejected. No exceptions to the above requirements will be <br />allowed. <br />E. To reduce the probability of corrosion and oxidation around the paddle latch, the mounting <br />area will be treated with ECK. <br />Does your bid comply with "A" through "E "?
