Deviations from the compartments as shown are not acceptable and may be <br />cause for rejection of the bid. Yes No <br />The exterior compartments shall be lockable with one key fitting all. They shall be equipped <br />with the handle and door locks as described in paragraph 5.16. Each exterior compartment shall <br />be automatically lighted when the door is opened and shall activate the "compartment door" open <br />warning light on the driver's console. The unit shall be wired so that only the light in the <br />compartment that is open will be activated. <br />Does your bid comply? Yes/No <br />5.18 Compartment construction <br />All compartment top, sides and back panels must be a minimum thickness of .100 diamond -plate <br />aluminum. Bottom of compartment must be. 125 diamond -plate aluminum. Each compartment <br />must be built as an individual unit, no common walls between compartments will be allowed. <br />All compartment joints must be sealed after MIG or TIG welding. <br />Does your bid comply? Yes <br />5.19 Dri Deck Protection <br />All exterior compartment floors will be covered with DriDeck grated material to rotect <br />equipment and prevent premature wear and tear on either the floor or equipment stored thin. <br />Does your bid comply? Yes No <br />5.20 Compartment Shelving and Security <br />Outside compartment shall have the following minimum requirements: <br />A. All shelving to be fabricated from .125" diamond -plate with retainer lips of 1 " in height <br />showing diamond -plate on exposed surface. <br />B. Shelving to be supported by four (4) heavy duty angle brackets attached to four (4) full <br />height formed vertical channel tracks (2 per side). Interior flanges of channel bracket to be <br />serrated to insure positive locking of shelf position and prevent shakedown of shelving <br />during transit under heavy loads. <br />C. Easy adjustment of shelf position to be accomplished by loosening four (4) bolts. <br />D. Located in the Back Board Compartment shall be a seat belt style buckle for Bac , Board <br />retention not plastic. <br />Does your bid comply with (A) thru (D)?
