Cabarrus County Zoning Ordinance <br />Chapter 2 -Rules of Construction and Definitions <br />COMMUNICATIONS TOWER, 911 COMMUNICATIONS TOWER- A tower which supports <br />communication (broadcast, receiving, or relay) equipment, utilized by government or other <br />public and quasi - public users. This does not include private home use of satellite dishes and <br />television antennas or amateur radio operators as licensed by the Federal Communications <br />Commission (FCC). <br />COMMUNITY GARDEN- A single piece of land gardened collectively by a group of people. <br />CONCRETE PLANT -A device that combines various ingredients to form concrete. <br />CONDITIONAL USE - A use which, because of its unique characteristics, cannpe rly <br />classified as a permitted use and warrants review by the Planning and Zoning o mission, <br />serving as Board of Adjustment. <br />r.T. ,.r owwr.,awimmmr <br />CONDOMINIUM- Real estate, portions of which are designated for separate ownership and <br />the remainder of which is designated for common ownership solely by the owners of those <br />portions. Real estate is not a condominium unless the undivided interests in the common <br />elements are vested in the unit owners. <br />CONFORMING USE - A use that is permitted t' t applicable zoning district. <br />CONSERVATION EASEMENT - A non -po ses , y of a holder in real property <br />imposing limitations or affirmative o ations r conservation purposes or to preserve the <br />historical, architectural, archaeolo Ncultural aspects of the real property. <br />CONTIGUOUS- Bordering or <br />CONTRACTOR'S STORAGE YARD- An outside area where construction materials are stored for <br />jobs, inclusive of the contractor's office, if on site. <br />CONTRACTOR OR TRADE SHOP- Establishments primarily engaged in providing contracted <br />services for customers �.
