7. Republic Services, Inc. rate adjustment will be calculated at 75% of the CPI total <br />percent change. <br />WHEREAS, the franchise agreement expires December 31, 2012 and may be renewed <br />for one successive period of five years. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the County of <br />Cabarrus that the Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Franchise Agreement with Republic <br />Services, Inc. is renewed for five years, including the change in conditions herein described, on <br />or before January 1, 2013 through December 31, 2017. <br />Adopted this the 16 day of July, 2012. <br />Elizabeth F.
