I 1742 <br />1 <br />I <br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br />November 19, 2012 — 6:30 P.M. <br />Economic Development Grant <br />Notice is hereby given that the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing at 6:30 <br />p.m. (or as soon thereafter as persons may be heard) on Monday, November 19, 2012, in the Board of <br />Commissioners' Meeting Room located on the second floor of the Cabarrus County Governmental Center, 65 <br />Church Street SE, Concord, to consider an economic development grant for Project Tuxedo, pursuant to N.C. <br />General Statute 158 -7.1. Project Tuxedo proposes to expand its company operations in Cabarrus County, with <br />a projected investment of approximately $41 million for facility and equipment upgrades and the creation of <br />approximately 200 jobs. A 5 -year grant equivalent to 85% of the ad valorem taxes on the increase in real and <br />personal property tax values is requested.
