P. Richards Company, a wholly -owned subsidiary of <br />Genuine Parts Company, pursuant to N.C. General Statute 158 -7.1. The wholesale <br />distributor proposes to construct a 200,000 sq. ft. facility on Cold Stream Blvd. / Glen Afton <br />Blvd. in Kannapolis, with a projected new net Investment of approximately $11.8 million <br />($10 million - real estate; $1.8 - equipment). Further, the company Intends to create 66 <br />new full time jobs In the county with an average hourly wage of $18.75 for non - supervisory <br />personnel. A 3 -year grant equivalent to 85% of the ad valorem taxes on the new net <br />investment is requested.
