Qualifications: <br />1. Installer Qualifications: Engage an experienced installer who is an authorized representative of the <br />manufacturer for both installation and maintenance of units required for this Project. <br />.B. Source Limitations: <br />1. Provide WS stations through one source from a single manufacturer. <br />2. Provide servers and CPU's from Dell. <br />3. Provide switches and routers from Cisco. <br />4. Provide UPS's from APC. <br />Attachment number 1 <br />F -5 <br />Page 98 <br />C. <br />Catalog Standards: Manufacturer's catalog numbers may be shown in the Contract Documents for <br />convenience in identifying certain products. Unless modified by notation in the Contract Documents, the <br />catalog description for the indicated number constitutes the requirements for that item. <br />1. The use of catalog numbers, and the specific requirements set forth in the Contract Documents, <br />' <br />are not. intended to preclude the use of other acceptable manufacturer's products or procedures <br />that may be equivalent, solely as judged by the Architect, but are given for the purpose of <br />establishing a standard of design and quality for materials, construction, and workmanship. <br />1.6 <br />DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING <br />' <br />A. <br />Packing, Shipping, Handling, and Unloading: By VVS Contractor <br />B. <br />Acceptance at Site: By WS Contractor <br />C. <br />Storage and Protection: By WS Contractor <br />' <br />1.7 <br />PROJECT CONDITIONS <br />A. <br />Existing Conditions: Contractor shall familiarize himself with the existing physical plant to ascertain the <br />. <br />most efficient cabling routes. Sole reliance on E300 Series Raceway Plans shall not relieve Contractor of <br />this responsibility. <br />' <br />B. <br />Project Schedule: The Contractor shall familiarize himself with the various project phases and provide <br />sufficient mobilizations as required for the following: <br />1. Build out Unit A Public Video Visitation area complete with head end equipment fully <br />commissioned. Build out inmate visitation stations in existing Units B, D and temporary units in G. <br />2. Build out inmate visitation stations in Unit H2 <br />3. Build out inmate visitation stations in Units L and M. <br />C. <br />Field Measurements: Verify dimensions by field measurements before fabrication and indicate <br />' <br />measurements on Shop Drawings. Coordinate fabrication schedule with construction progress to avoid <br />delaying the Work. <br />1.
