7 <br />r <br />F -5 <br />Attachment number 1 <br />Page 102 <br />PROJECT NO. 09-106 IP BASED VIDEO VISITATION SYSTEM <br />' <br />KENT COUNTY CORRECTIONAL REPLACEMENT 28 4690.11 <br />.KENT COUNTY 04/30/2010 <br />' <br />a. Authorized users will have the ability to schedule specific visits to be recorded based on the <br />Inmate, visitor (or both) via the web -based scheduling system. The system shall then auto- <br />matically record all Inmate sessions. <br />' <br />b. Ability to start recording a visit after the visit has been started based on a request or based <br />on conduct. <br />C. Allow authorized users (e.g. investigators, internal affairs) to search for pending visits for <br />specific visitors or Inmate and then mark the visitation for recording. <br />d. The system must store all recorded visits for 9600 hours in a video storage server (see <br />' <br />'Video Visitation Recording Server' below). <br />e. Authorized users shall be able to search for specific visitation sessions by Inmate, Visitor (or <br />both) and time, as well as by station. <br />' <br />f. Authorized users shall be able to stream the video visitation session of their choice to their <br />desk top for viewing. The integrator shall coordinate with the owner for which locations will <br />have this feature. <br />g. Authorized users shalt also be capable of burning a DVD of the recorded visitation session. <br />' <br />h. System shall incorporate an audit trail to track who has viewed and or burned a copy. <br />i. The recording system must be software based and not require third party video conferenc- <br />ing equipment to record and store recordings. The end user may require additional simul- <br />taneous recordings in future and does not want to be limited (or have to pay for third party <br />recording equipment with port expansion limitations and associated costs) The system must <br />utilize standard servers for processing and storing the recordings. <br />' <br />2. The recording system shall be commodity server based with appropriate recording and playback <br />software installed or a dedicated Multipoint Control Unit with similar capabilities. Utilization of <br />Digital Video Recorders (DVR's) shall not be acceptable. <br />' <br />D. Session Monitoring and Termination capabilities. <br />1. VVS shall be capable of monitoring and terminating thirty -six sessions, with the capability of <br />viewing four sessions simultaneously. <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br />3.1 EXAMINATION <br />' <br />A. Examine pathway elements Intended. for cables. Check raceways, cable trays, and other elements for <br />compliance with space allocations, installation tolerances, hazards to cable installation, and other <br />conditions affecting installation. Utilize cable trays where available. <br />B. Examine roughing -in for LAN and control cable conduit systems to PCs, Servers, stations and other cable - <br />connected devices to verify actual locations of conduit and back boxes before device installation. <br />' <br />C. Proceed with installation only after unsatisfactory conditions have been corrected. <br />3.2 PREPARATION <br />°Administration <br />A.
