♦ Chapter Two Rules of Construction & Definitions <br />and access, is installed under the manufactured <br />home; and, <br />(e) the tongue, axles, removable towing apparatus, <br />and transporting lights are removed after final <br />placement on the site. <br />10) Mobile home, class II - A manufactured home (generally, a <br />"single- wide ") constructed after July 1, 1976, that meets or exceeds <br />the standards promulgated by the U.S. Department of Housing and <br />Urban Development that were in effect at the time of construction, <br />but which does not meet the definition of a Class I manufactured <br />home. <br />11) Modular home - A dwelling unit constructed in accordance with <br />the construction standards of North Carolina Uniform Residential <br />Building Code for One -and Two - Family Dwellings and composed of <br />components substantially assembled in a manufacturing plant and <br />transported to the building site for final assembly and placement on <br />a permanent foundation. Without limiting the generality of the <br />foregoing, a modular home may consist of two or more sections <br />transported to the site on a chassis or steel frame, or a series of panels <br />or room sections transported to the site and erected, assembled, or <br />joined there. <br />Ethanol Fuel Production/Alcohol Fuel Plant <br />A special type of distilled spirits plant for producing, storing, using or distributing <br />distilled spirits to be used exclusively for fuel use. See Code of Federal Regulations, Title <br />27, Part 19. <br />1. Ethanol Fuel Production, Residential District, Personal Use Only, see <br />Chapter 7 for standards. <br />2. Small Plant -An Alcohol fuel plant that produces (including receives) not <br />more than 10,000 proof gallons of spirits per calendar year. <br />3. Medium Plant -An Alcohol fuel plant that produces (including receives) <br />more than 10,000 but not more than 500,000 proof gallons of spirits per <br />calendar year. <br />Extraction of earth products <br />Mining activities as defined in N.C.
