MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN <br />THE CABARRUS COUNTY CRIMINAL JUSTICE PARTNERSHIP <br />PROGRAM <br />AND <br />THE DIVISION OF COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS <br />JUDICIAL DISTRICT 3 -19A <br />THE COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS PROBATION /PAROLE STAFF WILL BE <br />RESPONSIBLE FOR AND /OR PROVIDE: <br />1. Public relations with the Judicial Officials in order to enhance the utilization of the <br />CJPP - Sentenced Offender Program. <br />2. Provide timely referrals to the Criminal Justice Partnership Program including the <br />provision of a copy of the probation judgement as well as other pertinent court <br />documents such as Orders of Modification and Delegated Authority. <br />3. Meet routinely with CJPP program staff to discuss probationer's activities and <br />progress. <br />4. DCC staff will provide random drug screens to monitor compliance and to ensure <br />sobriety while participating in the CJPP program. <br />5. Re- enforce the necessity to comply with the probationer's contract with the CJPP <br />program; and assist in recognizing probationer's problems and relaying that <br />information to CJPP program staff. <br />6. Allow CJPP program staff the opportunity for joint office visits at the Probation <br />Office. <br />7. DCC staff understands they may verify attendance of offenders prior to and <br />immediately after treatment groups and individual sessions. DCC staff may not <br />interrupt group under any circumstances without prior approval from the CJPP staff. <br />8. DCC staff will provide Cognitive Behavioral Intervention (CBI) on site for CJPP <br />referrals as well as other offenders. <br />9. DCC will provide, in a timely manner, a copy of the probation judgment as well as <br />any appropriate orders of modifications to the CJPP staff. <br />Attachment number 4 <br />F -4 Page 87 <br />
