The motion was <br />unanimously approved. <br />REPORTS) <br />Superintendent and /or Staff <br />Superintendent's Comments <br />Dr. Barry Shepherd noted that March is Youth Art Month and that student artwork has been <br />displayed in the lobby and hallways of the Education Center. The artists will be honored at a <br />reception on Sunday, March 20, 2011. Dr. Shepherd will be selecting the Superintendent's Art <br />Award choice from the work on display and this award will be presented on April 11, 2011. Dr. <br />Shepherd noted that school social workers were honored during the past week for their impact on <br />student success and growth. Last week was also National School Breakfast Week and the focus <br />was on the importance of starting the day with a nutritious breakfast. Dr. Shepherd noted that in <br />April, kindergarten registration will begin and information will be placed on Time Warner Cable <br />Channel 21 and on the CCS website regarding how to register. <br />4 <br />Attachment number 3 <br />G -6 Page 230 <br />
