Proposed Usage
Woodson University would like to purchase the Old Bethel School property and develop it into
our college campus and, civic center, business center, and preparatory academy day school. (bid price
of $10,000.00). The ten acres of land perfect situated on Highway 24/27 positions the university in the
middle of three counties and provides land on which the university and community could grow. In this
document you will find the initial plans the university plans to implement post purchase.
Building A (IWo Story Building) — This building consists of 30, 672 square feet. This building would
be renovated and rehabilitated to its previous usage as an administrative building, media center, and
auditorium. This building would house the Office of the President, Office of the Provost, Admissions,
Registrar, Learning Resource Center, Office of Business and Finance, Classrooms, and Faculty office
space. Space would be made available to civic organizations, the Town of Midland and Cabarrus
County for housing of administrative programs. This building would be targeted first structure to
become operational.
Attachment number 6
E -1 Page 54
