Lowes Charitable and Education Foundation
In the area of charitable gifts the university has to date raised $310,000 dollars in kind donations
towards the Old Bethel School project.
Our capital campaign would include a major gifts section naming opportunities for each facility.
Funding received for naming rights to each building would directly go towards renovation of the
aforementioned facility and institutional support.
Building A — $1,000,000 dollar gift for naming rights
Building B — $500,000 dollar gift for naming rights
Building C — $750,000 dollar gift for naming rights
Building D — $250,000 dollar gift for naming rights
Building E — $250,000 dollar gift for naming rights
Athletic Fields — $50,000 dollar per field gift for naming rights ($150,000 total)
Conference Rooms and Classrooms within the facilities will be available for naming rights gifts as
well.
Phase 4: Community Outreach
In this phase the university will seek input from the local community Town of Midland, Bethel
School alumni, Cabarrus County and other stakeholders as to what they would like to see as a part of
the university campus.
Phase 5: Construction
Conservative projections indicate the university would require eighteen to thirty six months
before substantive construction could be anticipated. Minor site improvements that must be done prior
to major construction or renovation could most likely be completed within twelve to eighteen months.
Until an official pre- design consultation, hazardous material, and environmental study are completed a
concrete time line is unavailable.
IV)
Attachment number 6
E -1 Page 59
