Recruitment Strategy
Woodson University has already begun a recruitment strategy for its academic degree programs.
Five students began online class instruction in the bachelors of Christian management and leadership
(organizational management and leadership) on April 4, 2011. The university is working with a local
marketing firm that has donated $25,000 towards the initial development of recruitment materials.
In July 2011 the university will host a ministerial breakfast in which the university's senior
leadership will provide a presentation on the academic programs that are offered at the university and
encourage clergy, laity and parishioners to enroll.
Woodson Preparatory Academy will begin recruitment this summer for students to enroll in the
fall semester. Initial course instruction will take place at the Learning Resource Center located in our
corporate offices at 24 Cabarrus Avenue East (Concord, NC).
Discussion is currently underway with regionally and nationally accredited institutions on
course transfer agreements, dual enrollment programs and continuing education alternatives.
Recruitment advertisements have been placed on local radio, print magazines, and social media outlets.
The university projects full time enrollment in undergraduate programs to be ten students by the
beginning of the fall 2010 semester. Graduate degree enrollment to be ten students by fall 2010 and
certificate and diploma enrollment to be ten students. This would bring fall enrollment to a total of
thirty full time students.
We anticipate enrolling approximately fifty young men in our preparatory academy by fall 2010
as well.
13
Attachment number 6
E -1 Page 60
