2036 John Rolfe Parkway, Henrico, VA 23238 • (804)476 -41 1 1
ihaveadreamrichmond.org • dream(uihaveadreamrichmond.org
April 27, 2011
Dr. A.L. Fleming
President, Woodson University
24 Cabarrus Avenue, East
Concord, North Carolina 28025
Dear Dr. Fleming:
Thanks for speaking with our team about the future relationships between Woodson
University and "I Have A Dreatn' Foundation - Richmond. We are in total support of
your university's attempt to acquire the Old Bethel School facility in Midland, North
Carolina. We would be interested in assisting in the enrollment of international students
at Woodson University.
As you know we have experience in raising funds for those students displaced by the
earthquake that devastated Haiti in 2010 and providing them educational support both in
Haiti and the United States. We have relationships with individuals within the
Departments of State, Homeland Security, the embassies /consulates and the local
government of Haiti.
We are excited about the possible partnership opportunities (leasing residence hall space,
academic instruction, etc.) available should you receive ownership of the property and the
proper funding for renovations. Additionally, we would be delighted to assist you in
avenues of fundraising for the facility and associated expenses.
Respectfully,
U
Gail Henshaw
Vice - President
Attachment number 6
E -1 Page 90
