April 2011 <br />Cabarrus Occupancy — February Smith Travel Research <br />February Occupancy in Cabarrus County was 53.7% up 2.4% from February 2010. In <br />comparison the state was up 4.8% in Occupancy in February at 51.9% <br />February Average Daily Rate (ADR) in Cabarrus County was $105.77, down 2.7% <br />from February 2010. The state had an increase in ADR of 1.0% in February at $76.47. <br />February Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR) in Cabarrus County was $56.77, <br />down .4% from February 2010. Overall RevPAR in the state was up 5.8% in February. <br />Room Demand for the month of February was up 5.1 % and room demand in the first 2 <br />months of the year is up 7.8 %. There were 41,073 rooms sold in February as opposed <br />to 37,200 rooms sold in February 2010 Total Demand for the state was up 6.4% and <br />7.0% YTD.. <br />Occupancy Tax Collections from February hotel stays was $255,329 compared to <br />collections of $245,660 in February 2010. <br />Attachment number 1 <br />1 -2 Page 371 <br />
