At the time of billing, our invoice will provide you with a <br />summary report of your increase in your next monthly <br />distribution from the Department, so you may verify it with the <br />appropriate Department of Revenue personnel. Our billing will <br />show the reallocation of the portion of county tax that will <br />benefit Cabarrus County as a whole. <br />County personnel may need to provide verbal and /or written <br />representations that we are working on their behalf. <br />We will contact each nonprofit entity that we deem <br />appropriate for review or that you instruct us to, based on the <br />list received from the North Carolina Department of Revenue. <br />Our fee for this service will be based upon the average <br />amount of Cabarrus County tax being requested by the non- <br />profit entities' refund claims for the yearly periods reviewed or <br />their locations, as follows: <br />Refund claims requesting $400,000 20% <br />or more of Cabarrus County tax <br />Refund claims requesting $150,000 25% <br />to $400,000 of Cabarrus County tax <br />Refund claims requesting $50,000 to 0 <br />$150,000 of Cabarrus County tax 30 /o <br />I <br />Refund claims requesting less than o <br />$50,000 of Cabarrus County tax 35 /o <br />This fee percentage will be applied to the county sales tax <br />distributed by the state based on point of delivery, transferred <br />from other counties and reflected thereon to Cabarrus County <br />as a whole, based on verification supplied by the North <br />Carolina Department of Revenue.
