CABARRUS COUNTY FIRE PROTECTION STUDY <br />of Services, specifically a focus +on five -, ten -, and twenty year;trm6=rarnes. The report will <br />also contain anticipated returns on investment for implementing the recommendations or <br />alternatives. <br />We will present data in easy -to -read graphic charts, as well as table formats. Our firm has <br />extensive experience in the presentation of data for management decisions and public <br />understanding. <br />Step VIII: Oral Presentation <br />In this step, we will provide an oral presentation regarding the Cabarms County Fire Study-- - <br />findings, observations, options and recommendations, fiscal impacts, returns on investment <br />and timing of recommendations. This oral presentation will be supported by a state- of-die-art <br />Microsoft PowerPoint computer -based slide presentation. <br />STUDY FRAMEWORK <br />The PSSi Study Team utilizes a modern industty -based framework for its analyses that is <br />comprehensive and systematic. The framework for this analysis would incorporate the model <br />developed by the Accreditation Committee of the International Association of Fire Chiefs <br />(IAFC), a program of accreditation for and by fire, rescue and EMS agencies and personnel. <br />This fire department accreditation process is currentlyunder the auspices of the Commission <br />on Fire Accreditation International (CFAI). Employing this model as a framework for the <br />Cabarrus County effort will provide established criteria for review and will provide the <br />reader with information on the latest thinking in the fire /EMS service. <br />It should be noted that a PSSi Study Team member is a certified Peer Assessor with the <br />CFAI. <br />20 <br />Attachment number 2 <br />F -4 Page 88 <br />
