CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF • • <br />* <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />OCTOBER 17, 2011 <br />`�iri�JJ1 /J� <br />1 <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Appointments to Boards and Committees <br />SUBJECT: <br />Appointments - Council for a Sustainable Local Economy (CSLE) <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />CSLE members Andrew Propst, Shawn Fleming, Jane MacRae, Marc <br />Brun, Grace Mynatt and Steven Blinsink have resigned from the Council. <br />It is requested that their names be removed from the roster. <br />The Council recommends the appointment of Joshua Knipp to complete <br />an unexpired term ending March 31, 2013 and the appointments of <br />Ronnie Long and A.L. Fleming to complete unexpired terms ending March <br />31, 2012. An exception to the "service on multiple boards" provision of <br />the Appointment Policy will be needed for Mr. Fleming. He currently <br />serves on the Social Services Board. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Motion to remove Andrew Propst, Shawn Fleming, Jane MacRae, Marc <br />Brun, Grace Mynatt and Steven Blinsink from the CSLE roster. <br />Motion to appoint Joshua Knipp to the CSLE to complete an unexpired <br />term ending March 31, 2013; and appoint Ronnie Long and A.L.
